It has honestly been a long week, but I found some feel good music that cheered me right up. Hope this week’s #g33kinlist brings some light to your life too! Seven solid tracks, one for each of the week. We #g33kin or nah?

  1. First up is a goodie simply because it features Cee-Lo Green, an artist we all know for his creativity and antics. Needless to say, he always ends up winning our hearts with good vocals. On this new track, Shine Like Gold, Cee-Lo teams up with Gipp, producer Snoop Dogg‘s hilarious (at least to me) single, Sexual Eruption. Gipp hasn’t really been on the scene with a solo song in some time. What do you think?

  2. Next up, is an artist I’ve never experienced, but am pleased that I stumbled into. Goapele is a Bay Area soul singer and songwriter. Here is her latest release, Hey Boy.

  3. I am uber excited about this one because it’s Lupe Fiasco. I was a huge fan when he was releasing more heavily. Well he’s back and he hooked up with Ty Dolla $ign to make it extra relevant. Good move! Sorry for all the DJ drops, but this is fairly exclusive. Start it at 3:38 to get the clearest full version hidden in there—Next To It.

  4. I hope you noticed, Puff Daddy is officially back. He is all up and through mainstream airwaves right now. He takes the current Wiz Khalifa hit We Dem Boyz and puts Meek Mill, French Montana, & T.I. on the track. We #g33kin or nah?

  5. I remember when I saw Teyana Taylor on “My Sweet 16” and I was still trying to figure out why she had so much money. Once I realized she was into music, I was just waiting on her to drop something official and takeoff. She is definitely with GOOD Music and has now dropped something the media won’t shut up about. How you feeling about her new single, Maybe. We #g33kin or nah?

  6. I had to highlight this one if only because it dumps so hard and the group hails from my hometown Philly. The trio, Ground Up says, “Let’s Ride”. If there is any bass in your system, start adjusting now…

  7. I am so glad I found this early. No matter how much I am loyal to the old skool, I can’t deny that I love me some new school bass. Mike Will Made It produces something smooth with Buy The World and of course Future, Lil Wayne & Kendrick Lamar do what they do best!
