Women’s History Month | #IAMBorn2MakeHistory

Breaking / Carousel / SS Special Coverage / March 31, 2015

We’ve reach the last day of Women’s History Month and if you ask us, this has been a great one! We decided to check out some of the WHM campaigns on social media by simply getting lost in the hashtag, #WomensHistoryMonth and we loved what we saw; many organizations and brands honored women of all walks of life in their own way. It was truly inspiring to learn a little more about the influential, and every day, women who have, and are, shaping our world.

One campaign in particular hit extremely close to home when they selected Sincerely Syreeta as a woman who was “born to make history”. Learn more about the campaign below and remember to honor and love the women in your life EVERY DAY!

Using the hashtag  #Iamborn2makehistory, IAM highlighted local women whom they believe to be on their way to making history. Each honoree was chosen for their proven work ethic, dedication to their community and professional accomplishments. In addition to being featured on social media, the women were also featured in Philadelphia Weekly’s March 18th issue and later honored at a happy-hour celebration held at Chima Brazilian Steakhouse restaurant–thanks in large part to their sponsor, Sugarhouse Casino. We can learn from each one of the women featured, and be inspired by their stories. Given that IAM is an organization founded by women, they are committed to supporting, empowering and uplifting women throughout the Philadelphia region.

Join the Influencing Action Movement, and keep up with their empowering journey:
