  1. The first spot on the list goes to a college buddy who just recently hit the air waves with his latest single. He jumped into his solo gospel career with a mixtape, Helloooo Dolly. You can call him Jermaine Dolly and this is You.
  2. This next guy up is doing something I don’t think the game has every really seen. All I can really say is, I’ll be watching and I suggest you do too. His name is Jidenna and he is a Stanford University alum, born in Nigeria who moved to America around 6 years-old. Long Live the Chief is the second official track from this Wondaland Records artist and I cant help but love it!
  3. I recently had the pleasure of seeing a Philly based artist that I know perform this next one live. During her set, Jacqueline Constance used her loop pedal to cover a dope version of a Sylvan Esso track, Hey Mami. Check out the original version.
  4. [IG Recommendation] This one was sent to me by a good friend @MzTuneItUp2Carolyn Malachi hails from Washington, DC and brings a HipHop/Jazz/Spoken Word sound. Check out the song, Beautiful Dreamer.
  5. This one is a treat, mostly because of the video. Mark Ronson brought us good jazz with Uptown Funk. He is back at it and this time he teamed up with Mystikal for the new single, Feel Right. I dont know where he found him at, but you cant deny the Brunson beat once again! #UptownSpecial
  6. The wildcard for today came by way of a event I am currently working on for Love Park in Philadelphia. Working with ReverbNation, we were running a contest to recruit artists for the lineup and this artist, Sugar Chocolate Slimsubmitted to be a part. After doing some research into him, I found this gem, Bring the Hookah.
  7. [#Throwback] While scouting for the project, I was listening to the submitted songs and one was far too familiar. I could not put my finger on where I had heard the song before. The group is Shinobi Ninja and the song is Rock Hood. I found out that it was so familiar because they were on the soundtrack of NBA 2k12!
